Welcome back to our Brussels blog as week 3 of our placement draws to a close. What a brilliant week of teaching! We have had the privilege of teaching for two weeks now, packed with an endless range of learning opportunities for trainees and pupils alike! From teaching volleyball, to teaching maps in the picturesque Tervuren Park, every day is filled with a new adventure!
We had an exciting end to the week, with James dropping in to BSB. We were delighted to catch up and enjoy a chat over waffles and ice cream!
Last weekend, we got the chance to explore the enchanting Tervuren Arboretum on our bikes. Cycling through such a stunning backdrop, surrounded by a rich expanse of woodland, we felt like we had been spirited away!
While we have been thoroughly invested in our teaching, we have embraced this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to continue pursuing a broad variety of extra-curricular sports, run by remarkable athletes, from professional sportspeople to Olympians!
With the weekend ahead of us, we are setting our sights on exciting travel destinations! On the menu for the TTE crew: a day trip into Brussels and a whistle-stop tour of Pairi Daiza Zoo are on the cards. We are extremely excited to branch out and explore all the pockets of magic Belgium has to offer!
We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, with a chance to relax and plan for the next week of teaching.
